"Works When It Wants To"
This was frustrating to use. The accessibility features felt like they were only working when they felt like it, which made the whole experience hit or miss. Sometimes things were okay, but other times it just felt like basic accessibility needs were overlooked.

"Gift Shop Had Surprisingly Good Stuff"
I’ll admit, the gift shop actually had a solid selection. Lots of nice little things to choose from, though the prices definitely felt like they were calculated in some secret back room where they know tourists can’t resist a cute souvenir. Still, I found a few things I liked, so I guess their plan worked

"I booked through the site and…"
I booked through the site and had no trouble at all. The tickets came fast, and the whole visit was really nice. We especially liked the turtle area and the big tank. The info was easy to find, and the prices were clear too. The kids loved it, so we’d definitely go again.

"Nice Visit, but I Felt a Little Torn"
I visited Maui Ocean Center last week and had a good experience overall. The tanks looked clean, and the animals seemed calm from what I could tell. I really liked seeing the signs about their rescue work and the local ocean life, and the staff were helpful without being overbearing. That said, I always have mixed feelings about seeing marine animals in tanks, even when the place seems well run. It did feel like they genuinely care, so I’m glad I went, but I still walked away a little conflicted...

"I spent about two hours here and…"
I spent about two hours here and thought it was nice overall. To me, it felt like the kind of place where you can just slow down a bit and enjoy yourself without feeling rushed. Nothing over-the-top, but definitely a pleasant experience

"Kids Had a Great Time"
The exhibits were really awesome, and my kids loved it a lot. We spent more time there than I thought we would, mostly because they kept wanting to go back to the same stuff again. I guess that means it was worth it, even if we didn’t see every single thing

"Clean and Easy Place to Visit"
I visited Maui Ocean Center and had a really nice time. The tanks looked super clean, so it made everything easy to see and enjoy. The glass was clear, there were no weird smells, and the whole place felt well taken care of. Because of that, it was a relaxing spot to walk around.

"Easy parking"

"Really Well Kept Compared to Other Aquariums"
I visited Maui Ocean Center last week and was impressed. The whole place felt really clean and well maintained, from the bathrooms to the tanks to the walkways. I’ve been to a few aquariums and similar attractions where things felt a little worn down or neglected, but this was the opposite. Everything looked cared for, and it made the visit a lot more enjoyable.

"We went on one of the guided tours..."
We went on one of the guided tours and ended up sticking around for a couple of the presentations too, i was way more into it than I expected to be. The staff was ridiculously friendly and explained everything in such an easy, fun way that I never felt bored for even a second. I swear I walked out feeling like a mini ocean expert. We learned so much about the ocean and the local sea life, and it was just such a great way to spend a few hours. I’d definitely go again!

"Totally worth it for the whales"
We mainly went to Maui Ocean Center for the humpback whale experience, and thankfully it actually lived up to the hype. I don’t have much patience for cheesy touristy stuff, so I was ready to be annoyed, but it ended up feeling really close, emotional, and genuinely well done.
The staff were friendly and didn’t rush us when we asked a bunch of random questions afterward. My kids somehow stayed quiet the whole time, which is basically a miracle. It’s an easy place to spend a few hours, but the whale experience was by far the highlight.

"Fun family stop with great interactive stuff!"
Visited Maui Ocean Center with my family and we enjoyed the interactive exhibits the most. The touch areas and information screens made it feel more engaging than just walking by tank after tank... and the kids actually stayed interested, which was a win! They even read some of the facts on their own. I’m giving it 4 stars only because a few areas felt a little crowded, and one of the screens was kind of slow. But overall, it was a really good visit -- easy to spend a couple hours there and definitely worth checking out.

"Good service, but a little pricier than expected"
I had a nice experience overall. The staff were friendly and checked in on us just the right amount, which I appreciated. I was expecting the food to come out a bit quicker, so the wait was a little disappointing, but everything tasted good once it arrived. The prices were also higher than I had in mind, though I guess that’s not too surprising given the location...

"Nice visit, but I expected a bit more"
The place was pleasant and really easy to walk around, and I did enjoy seeing the turtles and reef fish. Some of the tanks were genuinely too. I think my expectations were just a little higher for the price, I thought there would be more variety in the marine life. After a while, a few areas started to feel kind of similar. It’s definitely not a bad stop, just more of a 3-star experience for me

"Good little spot for the price"
The price was good, and that’s always the first thing I notice. I stopped by not expecting too much, but it ended up being worth the visit. Nothing fancy maybe, but in a good way? Anyway, if you’re nearby and don’t want to spend too much, I’d say check it out.

"Pretty decent lunch spot"
We stopped here for lunch during our visit, and overall it was good. The fish tacos seemed fresh, the fries came out hot, and the kids were happy enough with their meals. The prices felt a little on the high side, but I guess that’s not too surprising for the area. I’d probably eat here again, though I wouldn’t go in expecting anything too fancy
